Goat Cheese & Fig Toast with Honey

Serves 8

4 oz of Goat Cheese (most spreadable at room temp) 

4 Fresh Figs

1 loaf of sesame crusted bread

Honey for drizzling

Extra virgin olive oil

Garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Set oven to 350 degrees F

Slice bread into 1 in thick slices and then halves

 

Line baking sheet with single layer of bread and brush with light coating of olive oil, then a light sprinkle of garlic powder and place in oven for 5 minutes or until bread is lightly toasted then remove and let cool slightly

 

Spread softened goat cheese on toast

Slice figs and place on top

Drizzle Honey over toast covered with goat cheese and figs
